As Teddy’s birthday approaches, I always find myself reflecting a little more than usual. Watching your dog get older is never easy, any dog owner knows that. But when your dog is also loved by millions of people around the world, you hear it daily: he’s getting grey, he’s getting so old, he won’t be around much longer. And honestly, those comments are tough. But there’s so much more ahead. What I wouldn’t give to have my pup back, but life and time march on. I’m reminded daily that Teddy is still so full of life , he’s young in spirit, strong in body…and now he’s got a chaotic little sister to keep him young even longer. 😂 Instead of dreading what’s many, many, many years ahead, I’m choosing to celebrate what is, what has been, and what will be. The incredible bond we’ve built, the laughter we’ve spread, the good we’ve done together, the change we’ve made in the world…it’s 1 in 100,000,000… and I know we’re just getting started.
