Not that you should have that goal for your kid anyway (I’m definitely not going to put that pressure on my daughter or my son), but this whole idea of “Project Mbappe” comes from people who have no clue about ⚽️ #improvingallways
You don’t need to be a ⚽️ parent, you could just be a player in which case you should be asking yourself these questions and writing down your answers. • Number 1: The Technical Challenge. Number 2: The Physical Challenge. Number 3: The Mental Challenge. • We focus on challenges because challenge is what creates growth 📈 • And we ask all 3 questions because improving in just one of these areas is not enough. It takes skill, strength, AND mental resilience. #improvingallways
Ok ok I did exaggerate how bad this specific ⚽️ player was at juggling 😂 • But this did actually happen. And it should be a WARNING TO YOU ⚠️ • Pro ⚽️ players juggle together and play games that you can’t play if you can’t juggle before EVERY SINGLE training session. • If you can’t join in that stuff, then you don’t belong at a professional training session. • Besides, learning how to juggle and do stuff like wall and height juggling WILL improve your touch SO MUCH. • So learn how to juggle and keep improving at it even once you can get 100 juggles easily AND land at least 1 freestyle trick. • What’s your juggling record?? Let me know 👇🏻 #improvingallways
If I had supported myself as a ⚽️ player as much as I supported Bakayoko…maybe things would have gone differently for me 💔 • So who is your favorite player?? There’s only 1 right answer… #improvingallways
“How you do anything is how you do everything.” • If you don’t take your warmup for a match seriously, I’m not sure I trust you to take anything else seriously either 🤷🏻♂️ #improvingallways
There are great ⚽️ players who drink, heck there are great players who are alcoholics. • But great players never listen to anyone else more than they listen to themselves. Trust yourself. Be yourself. It’s not a way, it’s the only way. #improvingallways
You can’t always play your best. You can even always play well. But you can always… • Be on time. Work hard. Be a good teammate. Never give up. Try to make up for your mistakes. Stay positive. This stuff is 100% in your control. So control it. #improvingallways
It’s actually rare for a pro ⚽️ scout to watch a full game of a single player, usually they’ll watch a few minutes. That might not be the best way to make a decision on a player, but they’re busy people and they have lots of players to watch. • Imagine finally getting the chance to play in front of scout for a few minutes and wasting those minutes “building up your confidence” and anyway… • Playing simple and safe isn’t a way to build up your confidence ❌📈 • It’s just a way to show everyone watching that you have no confidence. • And if you are struggling with confidence at the level you’re playing at right now…there is no way you are ready for a higher level. #improvingallways
Team > You. If you want to play at a higher level, show coaches at that level that you understand that • Because they won’t be watching you because they want to help you. They’ll be watching you and asking themselves “Can this guy help my team?” #improvingallways
“The best ⚽️ players make the most mistakes because they want to get on the ball and try things, even when nothing is working.” • It’s easy to want the ball when everything you try works out… • But it’s the hardest thing in the world to want it when nothing is going your way… • And yet that’s what you need to do to be a great player. Because hiding from the ball doesn’t help you forget about your mistakes. It just means that you’re letting your mistakes own you. #improvingallways
