They say it takes a village to raise a child—well, we may not be kids anymore, but this weekend, we've truly felt the love of our village standing with us. Jer spent hours reading your comments, tears of joy in his eyes and a smile on his face. We never imagined building a community like this, and we certainly never expected to navigate something so personal so publicly—but here we are, and we are so incredibly grateful for your support. While we wished we were at home on the island, we're comfortable in our temporary rental in Vancouver and the dogs are loving living the big city life. The dogs have already destroyed some of the toys y’all have sent them, today feels a bit like the normal chaos we've been missing. I usually end these posts by saying I tolerate you—but honestly, my heart is so full. I love you. I love you for giving Jer a reason to smile. Thank you xo

Well that’s not happening again

I know you’ve all been desperately to see my face but of course, Jer has to steal the spotlight. How Typical. If you missed it, I posted yesterday on Facebook about how I struggle with accepting help—whether it’s from family, friends, or even you all. I’m working on it, especially now, because let’s be real... I need it. In so many ways (hello to my therapist reading this) So many of you have kindly asked how you can help, and honestly, one of the easiest ways is just by engaging with our content, streaming our comedy album No Refunds, or joining our brand-new Patreon, where I’ll be posting a weekly video podcast and hosting a monthly live hangout. While Jer takes a well-earned break from socials, we’ll still be around when we can. Right now, we’re in this weird purgatory of waiting—no one warns you about the waiting. It’s brutal. So many unanswered questions, so many looming possibilities. But for now, we’re embracing our little cancer-cation while Jer heals and rests up for whatever comes next. And yes I’m taking time for myself to recharge when I have it to build Lego and watch the golden girls. Thanks for being here, friends. We tolerate you all so much. ❤️@Shhhhecret Account
