My guess is it wasn’t sealed properly as Merbau is known to be top tier and perfect for sunny climates. Just another thing to add to my to do list! Plan on sanding and resealing to get it back to that beautiful rich tone! 🙌🏼 #disastertodreamhome

Just got our @ThruFlow decking delivered and ready to make this “hurricane proof” dock just in time for Hurricane Season! Maybe 4th time is a charm! After seeing every single piece of our ThruFlow stay put during Hurricane Helene and the rest of our dock wash away we knew we had to rebuild the entire thing with ThruFlow this time around 🙌🏼 #disastertodreamhome

Life Lately ❤️‍🩹 So blessed to be in our #disastertodreamhome while I recover from surgery! I have a 10 part mini series over on my Insta at Eastcoastfloridadiy about my surgery 💕 @Eastcoastdiyhusband has been taking care of me 24/7 @eastcoastdiymom has been over everyday with an iced tea and to water all the plants 💛 and @briana_eastcoast has been helping organize the house and check up on me every chance she gets! Thank you for all of your prayers and love you’ve been sending my way! Soon I’ll be stronger and better than ever 💪🏻

What’s your opinion on the ceiling paint color? @Jose Garcia is the best! Did all of this while we were at the builder show 🙏 Definitely on my top 10 list for the house is our Aquor House Hydrant! Gives such a sleek, modern look! #disastertodreamhome

As you can tell you haven’t missed anything at all 😆 Love how excited @briana_eastcoast gets about her room! And love her new nightstands from @Homary_Decor that @Jose Garcia put together for her 💕 I might not be able to do anyhting physical for another 3-5 weeks but I’ll be sure to put @Eastcoastdiyhusband and Jose to work and give you updates 😂 #disastertodreamhome

Using the @Airmada Drying Solutions for the first time to see how fast is dries out our shower! I had installed 24 tubes and valves during framing and while we tiled to help eliminate moisture and mold! Also will help keep our glass spot free! #disastertodreamhome

Updated house tour… Here is @victoria :) room! Can’t believe she will be graduating college this year, but she will be moving back to prepare for the Mcat and med school so we will be adding a custom bookshelf and tons of plants to her space. Just has the basics for now! #disastertodreamhome

Replying to @sc.0727 Well… all the water finally made its way out. We’ve had commercial blowers on it to dry it out completely and make sure no more leaks before we cover it back up! Thankfully @Jose Garcia was at our home while @Eastcoastdiyhusband and I were in Vegas to take care of it 🙌🏼 #disastertodreamhome

@Jose Garcia got all of our @smartwings motorized shades installed and programmed while we were gone. Love the light filtering in the living area to still allow light to come in but also adds privacy. As you can see we still have a lot to do! Only being able to lift less than 3 lbs has put furnishing and decorating the house on hold! But soon!!! 🙌🏼 #disastertodreamhome
