this happens ALL the time & while I never cared if people skipped me, you have no idea the impact that could have on someone else. Even if it may not seem like a big deal to you! DO NOT under any circumstances ask the character during a meet n greet: what their real name is, if you can get their social media, what time they’re off work, is it hot in that costume (the list can go on) I’d hear guests say all the time, “man I wish I could tell her XYZ..” as they’re walking away so now hopefully there can be a lot more guests being able to compliment some of their fav interactions. the first time someone asked to take a picture with ME as myself & not as a character.. my JAW hit the ground 😭 it would happen to my friends all the time but when it started happening to ME?
