Wash the rice until the water runs clear. 2. Cook rice with water, coconut milk, turmeric, leaf, salt, and stock powder in a rice cooker or pot. 3. Stir once halfway to avoid burning at the bottom. 4. Let it rest for 10 mins after cooking. ⸻ 🍳 Egg Strips (Telur Dadar Iris) Ingredients: • 2 eggs • 1 tbsp chopped spring onion • Salt & pepper to taste • Oil for frying Steps: 1. Whisk eggs with spring onion, salt, and pepper. 2. Heat a pan with a little oil and cook like an omelette. 3. Let it cool slightly, then slice into thin strips. ⸻ 🍛 Sweet Soy Tempeh (Tempe Orek) Ingredients: • 100 g tempeh, cut into thin matchsticks • 2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced • 1–2 small chilies (optional) • 1 tbsp sweet soy sauce (kecap manis) • ½ tsp sugar • Salt to taste • 1 tbsp water • Oil for frying Steps: 1. Deep or shallow fry the tempeh until golden, then set aside. 2. In another pan, sauté garlic (and chili) until fragrant. 3. Add soy sauce, sugar, water, and a pinch of salt. 4.
