Black holes are good laboratories for studying the unification of gravity and quantum mechanics! That’s why my focus is on developing number theoretic tools to understand the quantum gravity model of the black holes. 🌌 #STEMTok #stemfeed #blackholes #space
I love this trend! #BookTok Here are some books that came to mind when making this. I didn’t read that much during my teenage years, but when I was a kid you always saw me with a book in my hand. All books were in Swedish, and my favourite was probably the The Famous Five-series (Enid Blyton). I think I’ve read them all! As a teenager I started to explore more mathematics and philosophy. My favourites are probably Animal Farm (George Orwell), A Mathematician’s Apology (G.H. Hardy) and Doktor Glas (Hjalmar Söderberg, should be an English translation!). I wish I read more now, but most of my books nowadays are through my research. There are so many classics I want to read! However, one of my favourite now is definitely I Who Never Known Men (Jacqueline Harpman) and I’m currently reading Snow Crash (Neal Stephenson). Have you read any of these? #womeninstem
